Stephenie has spent her career working with families and youth. Stephenie received a bachelor’s degree in Family Sciences from BYU and a law degree from J. Reuben Clark Law School. She is a member of the Utah State Bar. While living in Washington, D.C., Stephenie worked on Capitol Hill for the Committee for Children, Youth, and Families; she represented abused and neglected children in inner-city Washington, D.C.; and worked as a lobbyist. Stephenie was the Founder & CEO of both Encircle LGBTQ Family & Youth Resource Center, and Encircle Therapy. She has served on boards such as the Governor’s Suicide Task Force, PBS Utah Advisory Board, Loveloud, Wolverines Elevated at UVU, and CHASS at Utah Tech. Stephenie and her husband Mitch have six children and live in Orem, Utah.
