Gabi was raised in neighboring Cottonwood Heights, Utah, and completed her undergraduate education at Utah Valley University. During her undergrad, Gabi started UVU’s first anarchist club, interned for a Utah Senator, completed a study abroad program in Nice, France, and volunteered for the small claims court as a mediator. She also met her husband and got married at the tender age of twenty. After much convincing from her political science professors, Gabi decided to attend law school.
She graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law, located in Eugene, Oregon in 2019. During law school, Gabi interned for the American Civil Liberties Association of Utah, externed for the Honorable Judge Ann Aiken of the U.S. District Court of Oregon, and gave birth to her son, Atticus. After law school, Gabi moved back to Utah to be closer to family and to serve the people of her home state. She began her legal career by providing low-cost legal services to low-income and at-risk populations all over the state of Utah.
Gabi is currently a Managing Attorney for CoilLaw. Gabi is also a Private Guardian ad Litem and an active member of the AFCC. She is an empathetic and passionate advocate for her clients. Gabi has a twin brother, loves Harry Potter and Jane Austen, enjoys escape rooms, and travels as much as possible.
