Kris Brown is a Senior Paralegal with CoilLaw, joining the firm in July of 2018. Her experience and duties provide litigation support to the CoilLaw attorneys. She assists with the preparation and filing of pleadings, correspondence with clients, preparation of discovery, organization of case files and trial preparation, scheduling and calendaring hearings and mediation, and preparing financial declarations. Before joining CoilLaw, Kris served as a senior paralegal for two major law firms in Washington, D.C., and another in Portland, Oregon with the intellectual property practice group. She earned her paralegal certificate from the Washington Online Learning Institute, an undergraduate from the University of Utah, and her Associate Degree from the College of Eastern Utah. She is a member of the National Paralegal Association (NALA).

In her spare time, Kris enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, and quilting. Most of all she loves spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren as often as possible.
