Associate Attorney

Crystal Anderson

Crystal Anderson grew up in sunny San Diego. She moved to Utah to pursue an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management at BYU. After graduation, she worked in HR for a healthcare technology company, focused on compensation, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion.

After a few years, Crystal felt called to make a bigger difference in the world and started law school at Boston University. During law school, she represented asylum seekers and other immigrants in BU’s Immigrants’ Rights and Human Trafficking Clinic, and also drafted legislation to facilitate better elder care in Massachusetts prisons.

Following law school, Crystal moved to Fairfax, Virginia, where she clerked for Judge Daniel Ortiz on the Virginia Court of Appeals. She then relocated back to Utah to clerk for Chief Justice Matthew Durrant of the Supreme Court of Utah for a year. Crystal joined CoilLaw in spring 2026 and is excited to bring her advocacy, research, and writing skills to represent clients in family law matters.

Crystal and her husband Alex have two adorable young daughters. In her spare time, Crystal loves doing yoga, doing jigsaw puzzles, and socializing with friends and family over good food.
