Chelsea was born in Santa Barbara, California, but grew up on the coast of South Carolina. She spent a large portion of her childhood traveling all over the world with her parents, where she got to experience different cultures. These experiences instilled a lifelong love of travel.

 Chelsea received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. Before pursuing a legal career, Chelsea spent ten years working in hospitality in events and sales.

Chelsea’s father is an attorney, and she always found his work to be interesting. Feeling stagnant in hospitality, she wanted to transition to a career that felt more challenging and impactful on a societal level.

She attended the Joseph F. Rice School of Law, also at the University of South Carolina, for law school.

After law school, Chelsea was a law clerk at her father’s practice in South Carolina for three years, gaining valuable experience in a wide range of legal areas, including family law.

Chelsea joined the Utah State Bar in May of 2025 and joined CoilLaw in July of 2025 as an Associate Attorney.

She now lives in downtown Salt Lake City with her fiancé, Erik, and their cat Beamer. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and watching movies!

Chelsea is eager to help families going through hard times. She goes above and beyond to support clients and advocate for them. Her goal in assisting clients is making sure they leave feeling like they can positively and successfully move forward in their lives. Her driving passion in her work is feeling like she has really made a difference in someone’s life for the better.
