Family Law Attorney

Megan Sanford

Megan Sanford is ardent about defending families and children. As a recovered addict and birth mom of 2 daughters that were placed for adoption, she is personally passionate about fighting for the best interests of children. Additionally, her undergrad background in social work, and work experience as a caseworker at DCFS—combined now with her law school education—has uniquely qualified her to represent children and parents with empathy and compassion and be a powerful advocate.

Born and raised in Utah, she then got her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. She has worked with many recovering addicts, birth moms, fostered and adopted kids, and others going through traumatic events. Wanting to further contribute to this community, she then decided to go to law school, and will shortly graduate with her Juris doctorate from the U of U’s S. J. Quinney College of Law.

When she’s not studying or working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Taylor, and their son, Phoenix, and daughter, Brooklyn. They have 2 dogs, 3 bunnies, a cat, and a bearded dragon, and they live in Lehi. She is proud of being sober and for cultivating incredibly open and connected relationships with her 2 birth daughters.
