Jill L. Coil

Jill Coil was born and raised in Utah. From a young age, Jill knew she wanted to advocate for the rights of others as an attorney. She graduated with honors at Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science, and she continued her education, receiving her Juris Doctorate in Houston Texas at Texas Southern University. Jill is dually licensed in both Texas and Utah. She founded Utah’s top family law firm CoilLaw, along with Utah’s first female-led personal injury firm, Moxie Law Group. Moxie Law Group was recently honored to be named one of the 100 Companies of Women Championing Women and was also recognized for participating in the ElevateHER challenge. In 2023, Jill was a Super Lawyers winner. Jill’s drive to help others doesn’t stop at legal advocacy: Jill is a celebrated author of No One Dies from Divorce, a guide to helping people through the divorce process. She’s also active in her community and is a participant of the Bar Section in Utah and Texas. Jill is married and has four children. When she’s not advocating for her clients, she enjoys seeing the world through traveling with her family.
